Clearing into the US Virgin Islands
Vessels entering the US Virgin Islands need to proceed directly to a port of entry for clearance:

- Documentation of nationality for each passenger/ crew member
- Ship’s documents
- Vessel Entrance or Clearance Statement (CPB Form 1300)*
- Passenger and Crew List (CPB Form I-418)*
- Clearance from the last port of call.
Who needs a tourist VISA prior to arriving in the US and British Virgin Islands?
*Specific requirements must be met for these Nationals to qualify.

Any persons requiring a visa to enter the US must arrive in the US on a recognized carrier, ie. Ferry Boat or Commercial Air Line. CHARTER BOATS ARE NOT RECOGNIZED CARRIERS.
If your guests are nationals needing a visa to enter the US, you picked them up in non-US waters, and they have not traveled through the US prior to arrival on your yacht, YOU MUST PUT THEM ON A FERRY or PLANE to get them into the United States.

Additional Information
Firearms:
All firearms and ammunition must be licensed and declared to Customs upon entry to the US Virgin Islands. Contact individual customs offices for firearms regulations on neighboring islands before entering the country.
Pets:
All pets must be declared with US Customs and must have proof of current vaccinations. Puppies younger then 3 months must be confined at a place of the owner’s choosing. They must be vaccinated and stay in confinement for another 30 days.
Crew Members:
