Boat Registration Renewal (Every Year)


To renew via the mail you must send:

  • Check or money order payable to DPNR
  • Copy of the prior years boat registration card
  • Self-addressed stamped envelope

Business License Renewal (Every Year)

The renewal of your business license is as easy as signing in online and following the directions.The Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs will contact the Bureau of Internal Revenue on your behalf to obtain your tax clearance letter. Once that has been done DLCA will contact you and all that is left is for you to pay.

NOTE: Individuals conducting charter boat services or boat rentals must have
the applicable business license on the vessel.

TWIC Card Renewal – Every 5 Years

The renewal process is the same as the original enrollment process. TSA requests your renewal process start 30-45 days before the expiration date on your current TWIC card.

NOTE: Are you a US citizen or US national that holds a TWIC card that expires on or before December 31, 2014? If so, you are able to choose between two renewal options:

1. A one time 3-year Extended Expiration Date (EED) TWIC for $60

2. 5-year renewal for $129.75.
